About The Charlotte Bourbon Society
The Charlotte Bourbon Society (CBS) has truly emerged as the pinnacle of bourbon societies in Charlotte. Established by the visionary founders, Ken and Tracey Bernardo, in 2018, the CBS came into being through Ken’s annual bourbon dinner benefit, a remarkable endeavor aimed at raising funds and awareness for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and stroke. It was during this noble pursuit that they swiftly recognized a glaring void in Charlotte’s bourbon scene—an absence of a cohesive community centered around the bourbon boom, whiskey education, and captivating events where like-minded individuals can unwind, expand their horizons, and revel in all things bourbon—the elixir that truly captivates our hearts.
