The Cigar Shop LLC started with humble beginnings in a mobile trailer near Indian Trail, North Carolina. What began as a personal passion has grown into one of the most respected cigar and pipe retailers in the Carolinas.
The company is owned and operated by Todd Johnson (Owner) and Nathan Sumner (CEO/Owner), known as #CigarNate. Their vision was simple from the start: build something rooted in authenticity, service, and community — not just transactions.
Today, The Cigar Shop operates five authorized brick-and-mortar retail locations across the Carolinas, along with a growing online store that serves customers nationwide. Even while competing with large warehouse retailers across the country, they’ve stayed committed to their brick-and-mortar DNA — real lounges, real humidors, real relationships.
